Mental Health Ward Extension
Every Project Counts were the contractor of choice for the new build extension in the Mental Health Unit Silver Birches at Chase Farm Hospital. The new extension was designed to provide new secure bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, anti-ligature fixtures and fittings throughout and remodeling of the surrounding landscape.
There were challenges with the project including the Covid-19 pandemic, occupied areas and shutting down electrical services to the whole Chase Farm Hospital site and re-instating over a two-hour period. All were overcome with our vastly experienced team carefully planning and working alongside the estates management.
The project finished on time within budget and to an extremely high standard and is a wonderful resource for the Trust.
Every Project Counts was entrusted to carry out a sensory garden project for Barnet Enfield & Haringey Mental health NHS Trust (BE&H). We were allocated 6 weeks to complete the project, it was in fact completed in 5 weeks and within budget.
The original garden had become overgrown and unusable for the service and had to be completely demolished. The infrastructure was completely renewed involving new drainage, electrical supply lighting and water supply.
The finishes included resin stone pathways, a water feature, newly planted trees & plants, turfing and decoration to walls.
To complete the work our team of operatives worked weekends and extended their working days.
All the service staff were thrilled with the end result.
Pain Clinic Refurbishment
The Pain Clinic which is located in the St Michaels Hospital site, needed to be relocated to another part of the Trust. This involved the isolation of the existing services and a soft strip out of all the existing finishes.
The new location was fully fitted out by Every Project Counts Ltd with new IPS units and wash stations, Whiteroc hygienic cladding, electric and mechanical full fit-out, and new vinyl flooring and doorsets.
The programme was limited to just 8 weeks which meant our project team had extensive planning before commencement to ensure a ‘just in time’ delivery schedule was achieved.
The areas were occupied with patients and staff and our team liaised with the estates and facilities team to carefully isolate services and protect existing finishes to ensure patient care was not interrupted.
The project completed on time and within budget with the high-quality finishes that were achieved was testimony to the teams hard work and careful planning.
The finished project was outstanding and something that everyone involved with including the client, designer and contractor were very proud to be a part of.
New Reception, Waiting Room & Offices
Every Project Counts Ltd carried out an extensive refurbishment of the reception to Gifford House without affecting the staff, patients or the service overall. The project involved the demolition and rebuilding of interior walls, a new bespoke reception desk and associated M&E services with new doors, flooring and decoration works. The team worked with the end users and carried out the works at appropriate times so as to reduce the impact to the service but without impact on the contract programme or quality.
Works also involved fitting new Qmark doors and anti-ligature furniture, automatic doors and automatic gates/ landscaping.
This project involved fitting out a satellite building to Lambeth Hospital.
Every Project Counts was contracted under a design and build scheme and provided new Q-Mark third party certified door sets and anti-ligature kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms and new vinyl flooring.
One of the problems we found was finding adequate material that would be robust enough to meet the trust's standards within a secure area.
We introduced them to a resin-bound finish on the walls, floor and ceiling, as the traditional method had been proved to be insufficient.
The project was completed to an extremely high standard and was praised by the trust for the quality and professionalism of all involved.
Every Project Counts Ltd specialise in this type of specialist fit-out at The Chase Building, Enfield. We are an approved installer of Q Mark doors and have extensive experience at installing anti ligature fixtures and fittings.
The project involved the installation of a new S136 Suit and resign walls and floors. We installed anti ligature IPS units in bedroom ensuites and carried out a full refurbishment of the ward.
Anti-ligature mechanical and electrical fixtures and fittings were introduced throughout.
We understand the sensitivity of working in this type of environment, our staff and supply chain undergo specific training and all have an enhanced DBS.
Every Project Counts were commissioned to refresh the tired interior and improve the functionality of the School House.
Working collaboratively with the client, Every Project Counts were able to create a space that fulfilled the clients needs, fitting the design brief and creating a beautifully finished refurbishment of the existing school house.
Our team were responsible for the design and build process, including planning applications and full plans building control approval.
The overall project has given the school a wonderful new facility.
