Seymour Pavilion

Harris Associates

Seymour Pavilion is used as a sporting hub for the area of Ingatestone, facilitating many sports clubs for both adults and children. A shortage of recreational space in Ingatestone meant the council recognised the importance of refurbishing the pavilion at Seymour Field.

The refurbishment works we completed included the reconfiguration of the pavilion to provide two changing rooms, an officials’ changing room, a community hall, a kitchen, toilets and storage space. With the old facility unable to meet FA facility criteria, the modernisation of the site was essential to safeguard football participation in the village. Working extensively with the Parish council, the design of the pavilion was formulated to be both compliant and aesthetically pleasing.

Mike Harris from WHS Associates commented "Every Project Counts was a new contractor introduced to me. I had a great experience working with these guys, they ticked all the boxes. The project was completed ahead of programme, excellent finish and within budget. Very professional and hope to
work with them again." As a business we were pleased.

"We have been able to create a facility that will be the pride of the parish for
future generations."
Parish Council Chairman Paul Jeater
